How to quickly understand all 890+ Pokémon from the eight generations? (Part 1/2)

Translate
As of 2020, the world of Pokémon has gone through eight generations, with a total of 893 Pokémon. If you count the different forms of the same Pokémon, the total number exceeds a thousand. For newcomers, it can be quite exhausting to get to know such a vast world. Therefore, as a Pokémon enthusiast, it is helpful to organize relevant knowledge.
The official classification methods are based on types and egg groups. Based on the appearance, type, and egg group of the 893 Pokémon, I have roughly divided them into ten categories: bugs, birds, small animals, large animals, reptiles, fish, plants, humanoids, inorganic, and monsters.
1.Bugs

One of the original inspirations for the Pokémon game was the real-world bug-catching game, where players collect, train, and battle bugs. The concept of "evolution" is also related to the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly. In each generation, bugs always appear in the initial forests and grasslands, and players have given them the nickname "starter bugs." This category corresponds to arthropods in the real world, mainly including bug-type Pokémon, with bug groups as their primary egg group. It also includes crustaceans and crabs.
2.Birds

Birds correspond to flying types and the flying egg group. Some non-flying ground birds and some water birds are also included in this category. The flying types that can be captured in the early stages of each game are called "starter birds."
3.Small Animals

Small animals are the mainstay of Pokémon, including small cats, dogs, mice, and frogs. This category of Pokémon is the largest of the ten categories, so Pokémon are also called pets.
4.Large Animals

This category includes large herbivores, bears, apes, aquatic mammals, and so on. Large animals correspond to land egg groups, while small animals correspond to land egg groups.
5.Reptiles

Reptiles include snakes, turtles, lizards, dinosaurs, and so on. There are more monster egg groups in this category.
