The play I got up to this week is Grimvalor, a fast-paced action-role-playing game matched with stunning graphics and design to world creation. Right from the get-go, you are thrown in a dark, mysterious world brimming with danger and secrets. Haunting atmosphere that snatches you from right off. Smooth controls, intuitive mechanics, learn to get but tough to master. Into the shadows, things started to door up; everything I uncovered became part of the hidden story, which kept me curious about what would happen next on my journey through the game.

The battle mechanics are rather well thought out and it is always fun to get to the expert level. You will have Weapons & Skills whereby each of them will have their individual bonus and penalty. It also makes for a more effective use of abilities since in this game, you will be facing different types of enemies and therefore should be able to devise ways of how to kill them effectively.

This game is stunning in of design as every place that you come across is well designed and the back story is gradually revealed as one advances in the game. As it would be seen, one gets the opportunity to explore the world and get glimpsps of its secrets alongside getting to meet challenging characters, to find treasures and solve mysteries.

The gameplay is more or less difficult but it is full of other rewards. The enemies and bosses that you come across will be tough and which will make you have to sharpen your sword skills as well as your brains to overcome your opponents. It is satisfying to get a great feeling when you kill a big boss because you had to go through a lot of hassles in order to defeat the enemy.

Grimvalor is an absolute must-play for any action RPG fan. It features fast-paced combat with exploration and a beautifully created world that will make things memorable to all players. There will be a number of enemies able to challenge you, a rewarding progression system ensured to keep you motivated, and it gradually unfolds its mysterious story interest through the game. There are some minor shortcomings like a steep difficulty curve and limited customization, but they hardly overshadow the overall quality. The console-level polish as well as immersive gameplay definitely proves this game can be considered and worth playing if you want to really get into a dark and exciting adventure.
